Lianne has over ten years of teaching experience, specializing in math. Her qualifications include a BSc and BEd both majoring in mathematics from McGill University, Quebec. She believes in meeting the student where they’re at - academically, emotionally, and socially, all while nurturing their growth and love for learning. Her style of teaching is very hands-on, creating relevant applications for the mathematical concepts being taught.
Lianne is passionate about creating a more just and sustainable food system and believes that educating children about where their food comes from and how to grow their own food (and getting them excited about it!) is the path to a better future. She has built gardens with students in Canada, Guatemala, and Costa Rica.
