High School Education
Welcome to the High School (Grades 9-11)
Emergence — A full-time, future-ready high-school experience
Our full-time high school program (ages 14–16) is co-created by The Gift Academy and Life Project Education to equip teens for the changing world with creativity, courage, and purpose.
Students leave with real portfolios (not just grades), emotional and leadership skills, and practical experience in regenerative design and systems thinking.
Quick highlights: portfolio-based assessment; weekly mentorship & rites of passage; integrated core academics; year-long capstone (Design Your Village); quarterly themes (Human Development, Earth Guardianship, Global Citizenship, Transformation & Reflection).
Core Academic Courses
Learning is both quantitative and qualitative. Core courses meet academic credit standards and include traditional grading where required, while student growth is also captured through portfolios and competency-based evaluation mapped to the Inner Development Goals and 10 Intelligences Framework. These portfolios are guided by teacher and mentor feedback, encouraging reflection, mastery, and self-direction.
The program is currently in the process of international accreditation (WASC and MSA-CESS) and maintains partnerships with U.S. high schools to ensure academic certification and grade-level continuity.
2026 Core courses include:
English Literature, Composition, and Oral Communication: Literature Study, Writer’s Workshop across the genre, Speech & Debate

Mentorship, Community & Pathways
Mentorship connects learning to life. Each student is guided by mentors who help translate their interests into real projects — from regenerative design to creative media, wellbeing, and entrepreneurship.
Our growing mentor network includes educators, artists, scientists, healers, and community builders, offering students lived perspectives on purpose, collaboration, and contribution. Through asset-mapping, we align mentors’ gifts with student projects, building a dynamic ecosystem of support.
Community showcases and partnerships invite families and local organizations to participate in the learning process, making education a shared, lived experience.
This is education that prepares youth not just for exams — but for life.
